The WV Conference is sponsoring a webinar for pastors, laity and others around our state on best practices to continue to share our story with those in our church and community. Ken Willard, our Conference director of Discipleship, Leadership and Congregational Vitality shares more below:
Hope you and your family are staying safe and healthy.
On Thursday April 2nd from 9:45am to noon, our conference will take part in an online webinar with Jason Moore called: Telling the Old Story in a New Time. This is a brand new seminar Jason has created specifically addressing our new realities in worship.
Please help us get the word out to as many pastors, laity leaders, and others around the conference encouraging them to register for this event. Help direct them to our Conference webpage listed below, where they can read more about the event and register.
Even if they are not able to attend the webinar live, by registering they will have access to the recording for 30 days.
Most of our larger churches, and more social media connected leaders, have seen this information and are already signing up for the seminar. My concern now is for our smaller churches, our African-American churches, our churches being pastored by Lay Servant Ministers, our churches being pastored by someone who has multiple churches, etc. You know, the majority of our conference. Please help me get the word out to them.
I know this seminar will offer a lot of great information and insights they will be able to take and use right away in their ministry.
